What Is UVB Phototherapy?
A clinically proven treatment for chronic skin conditions.
Narrowband UVB phototherapy is a safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and vitiligo. It uses a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light (311–313 nm) to reduce inflammation, slow down the overproduction of skin cells, and relieve common symptoms like itching, redness, and scaling. Treatments are quick, non-invasive, and typically well-tolerated—even for long-term use under clinical supervision.
How It Works & Key Benefits
Targeted light therapy with clinical evidence
UVB light penetrates the outer layers of the skin, helping to calm overactive immune responses and promote healing from the inside out. This narrowband spectrum is particularly effective at minimizing flare-ups and improving skin health over time.
Benefits of Narrowband UVB Phototherapy:
-
Effective Symptom Relief: Helps reduce itching, scaling, and discomfort.
-
Non-Invasive Approach: No needles, no downtime, no systemic side effects.
-
Targeted Treatment: Precisely directed at affected areas for maximum impact.
-
Supports Skin Healing: Promotes normalized skin cell turnover and immune regulation.
-
Sustainable Management: May be used as part of an ongoing treatment plan.

UVB phototherapy is often recommended when topical or oral medications haven’t provided lasting relief. While it is suitable for many individuals, it’s not ideal for everyone.
