Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Doctors receive their education and training from accredited naturopathic medical colleges. They diagnose, prevent, and treat acute and chronic illness to restore and establish optimal health by supporting the person's inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic doctors work to identify underlying causes of illness, and develop personalized treatment plans to address them. Naturopathic Doctors are regulated in Ontario by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. This regulatory college serves the vital role of protecting public interest by establishing and upholding the minimum standards of performance that are required by Naturopaths to maintain their license to practice.
